Presidenzialismi asiatici: Corea del Sud, Filippine, Singapore
Abstract
Asian Presidentialisms: South Korea, Philippines, Singapore – Presidentialism in Asia has both common and divergent features. In the experiences of South Korea and the Philippines, the variant represented by hyper-presidentialism prevails. However, in the case of South Korea, some parliamentary elements were introduced from the beginning. In turn, the case of Singapore has particularities, consisting of the introduction of presidential elements into a form of parliamentary government (with Confucian influence). Taking into account the typological variety of national systems, it therefore seems preferable to speak of Asian presidentialisms (in the plural form).
