Abstract

Currently, the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and the Internet of Things (IoT) allows hyperconnectivity and datafication of every area of human activity. This fact, together with the disaffection of civil society towards the current democratic systems, is generating new mathematical models, using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) of Machine Learning (ML). Using a critical approach, the goal of this work is to show the potential, limits and consequences that underlie the various democratic proposals based on the use of Artificial Intelligence.
