«ll “metodo democratico” nei partiti»: alcune considerazioni di contesto
Abstract
Abstract: The “democratic process” within political parties: some reflections on the topic – The question of democracy within political parties represents, to date, an unresolved issue of the institutional and political architecture of the Italian legal system. Strictly connected to the crisis of representation, the fulcrum of the problem in question rests on the ambiguous compromise in Art. 49 of the Italian Constitution, around which the political and scientific debate has developed widely without, however, achieving a normative regulation of the internal organization of political parties. Although the comparative scenario provides various examples of interventions by the legislator – all of which “tailored to” the political, cultural and material peculiarities of each legal order – there is much debate in the Italian context as to whether the time is ripe for reforms aimed at conforming the internal structure of political parties to the “democratic process”.
