Several considerations about the party-system in Mexico

Abstract

The article explores several features of the regulation about the mexican parties, this latter consists of multiple and multilayered sources of law which draws a specific and convoluted framework. Additionally a system of deep control concerning the activities of the parties - provided by the Tribunal electoral del poder judicial de la Federación - is in force. Unfortunately, the supervision has not been able to avoid several detrimental aspects like corruption or fairness in acting.
