The constitutional reform in Armenia

Abstract

The present article deals with the constitutional reform enacted in Armenia on December 2015. The paper purports to highlight both the new framework for fundamental rights and liberty, and the transition from a semi-presidential to a parliamentary government, including the recently enacted electoral law. Its final aim is to show how the structure and functioning of the party system risks to impair the most significant changes that the reform could bring about.
