The 1924 Constitution is the first constitution of the Republic of Turkey. It represents a complete break with the Ottoman Empire. This paper discusses the principles and rules of the 1924 Constitution related to the judiciary, and studies the legal order and the organization of the judiciary during the period of this constitution in force.
