measures adopted to face the Coronavirus pandemic disease – On March 12, 2020 the Government of the Czech Republic declared the state of emergency for 30 days with reference to the entire territory of the State, due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The state of emergency was initially extended by the Chamber of Deputies until April 30, 2020, and then finally until May 17, 2020. The Government has so far introduced a series of measures in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 and to support people affected by the economic and health crisis. Unprecedented restrictions have been imposed to fundamental rights and freedoms, which led to several administrative as well constitutional complaints.
