Abstract

The article aims to compare the sports justice systems of Spain and Italy, starting from the assumption that the two sports regulatory models are highly similar. The first part is focused on highlighting that these are two interventionist models: in both countries, in fact, following an initial period of private regulation, the sports organizations became mostly public. The second part compares the relevant models of sports justice: in Spain, the strong presence of public authorities has led to a system that always allows full judicial control over administrative measures; in Italy, conversely, this possibility is still partially subject to limitations.
