Abstract

Abstract: Rights in the Cuban socialist model – The essay aims to analyse the rights enshrined in the new 2019 Cuba Constitution. The analysis contextualizes the constitutional provisions in both their ideological and socio-economic elements. It is thereby detected how the ambiguity and contradiction resulting from this context undermines the effectiveness of the constitutional rights.
