The impact of Brexit on the execution of the European arrest warrant from the United Kingdom

This article aims at analyzing the very recent ruling of the Court of justice of the European Union in case C-327/18 PPU, concerning the request for a preliminary
ruling to the Court, pursuant to Article 267 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, by the High Court of Ireland, in the proceeding concerning the execution of the European arrest warrants issued by the judges of the United Kingdom against a defendant of murder, arson and sexual violence. The applicability of the European Convention on Human Rights in the United Kingdom after Brexit will also be analyzed.
