Verso Vaduz: piccoli e grandi passi della parità di genere nel Principato del Liechtenstein
Abstract
To Vaduz: small and large steps towards gender equality in the Principality of Liechtenstein – For a long time, in Liechtenstein there wasn’t equality between men and women: women hadn’t right to vote and were formally discriminated. Once gender equality was introduced, it was recognized as an institution of formal equality. Only supranational legislation, in particular the Convention on the Elimination of all Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), introduced a principle of substantive equality.
