Abstract: The Cuban Constitution (2019) in the frame of the New Latin American Constitucionalism: can a regional dialogue be possible? – The new Constitution of Cuba, approved in 2019, is a product of the Cuban legal tradition, but also, actually, it is expression of the evolution in act in the constitutionalism of the Latin-American region. In this sense, it is important to consider, preliminarily, which is the impact of the socialist revolutionary Marxist Cuba’s history on the new Constitution, in terms of legacy. At the same time, how the constitutional text has been influenced by the transformations that have long been affecting the Latin American region, contributing to create a new and original constitutional model, known as the Nuevo constitucionalismo latinoamericano.
