Abstract

The myth and the technique of participation in constitution-making processes: participatory constitutionalism in the Chilean experience and around it – Ahed of the new constituent process, which started at the beginning of this year, the paper analyzes the technique of participation in the work of the Chilean Constitutional Convention, placing the participatory process put in place in the 2020-2022 constituent process in the context of the doctrinal considerations on participation in constitution-making processes in the new latin constitutionalism and comparing the Chilean experience with previous Andean constituent processes known for their focus on popular participation.
