Abstract

Glimpses of the future. Brief notes on M.R. Ferrarese’s book, “Poteri nuovi” – Moving from the dense text of Maria Rosaria Ferrarese (“Poteri nuovi”, Bologna, 2022), the intervention proposes a reflection on the current trends, pushing their interpretative potential to open some glimpses into the future. Complexity, precariousness, and invisibility make power opaque and undermine constitutionalism as a limitation of power, in the context of a world sliding towards an authoritarian neoliberalism that blurs the distinction between democracy and autocracy.
