The article goes through the entire Chilean constituent process, starting from the 2019 Estallito Social to the referendum in which the Chilean people will soon be called upon to accept or reject the new Constitutional Charter. Notwithstanding the importance of the initial and final referendums, much of the attention here is devoted to the phase that took place before the Constitutional Convention. This phase marked a decisive break in Chilean constitutional history, both in terms of the working method adopted and of the contents elaborated.
