The Covid-19 Emergency in Sweden: Legal Foundations of a Pragmatic Approach – The strategy designed in Sweden to contain the Covid-19 pandemic, with no general “lockdown” and no formal restrictions to individual freedom of movement within the country, can be correctly assessed only by taking into account as well the constraints imposed by the current constitutional framework and certain specific features of Swedish legal culture.
