Abstract

The defense of democracy and its limits: considerations from the Romanian presidential election and the Georgescu affaire – The essay aims to analyze Romanian events during the Head of State's election process. Starting from the concept of militant democracy, the author offers a critical analysis of the main decisions of the Constitutional Court in order to understand and investigate lights and shadows of the new profiles arose in relation to Romanian protected democracy.
