Abstract: The party-system as a mirror of Fidesz's conception of democracy. - The article aims to analyze the existence of a relationship between the internal dimension of democracy in Fidesz and the external dimension of democracy in the
context of the Hungarian constitutional system as a whole. In particular, the author investigates how, after the electoral victory of 2010, the idea of democracy and the populist rhetoric provided by the party led by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán have
changed the very functioning of democracy within the Hungarian borders compared to its past.
