The new rules on the foreign direct investments screening in the agri-food sector: interpretative profile and critical issues concerning its application – This essay focuses on the foreign direct investments screening in the agri-food sector and on the special powers recognized to the State for the protection of its national security. A complex system, characterized by the development of the European and national law, which involves also the agri-food sector with respect to the food security. This opens to several hermeneutic issues related to food security as a strategic sector and the concrete application of the law in the agri-food law system.
