Liechtenstein e diritti umani: il punto di vista degli international monitoring bodies

  • Michele Di Bari

Abstract

The Principality of Liechtenstein is member of the international and regional organizations aimed at promoting the protection of human rights. This contribution attempts to understand whether the element of micro-statehood can – somehow – influence “how”, and to what extent, international obligations to protect fundamental rights are implemented. Therefore, this paper focuses and analyzes those documents elaborated by the monitioring bodies of the United Nations, and the relevant case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
