The “Myth of Sisyphus” and administrative simplification. Looking for new regulatory models - Administrative simplification pursues with the aim of reducing regulatory complexity and uncertainty that affects the relations between public administrations and citizens, reducing administrative costs, and eliminating bureaucratic barriers. From this point of view, simplification is a supranational challenge in which state and non-state actors are involved. A comparison between some experiences presented in this monographic section allows us to highlight the asymmetrical solutions produced by the pursuit of common objectives, looking for new regulatory models.
