Presidential transitions in the USA: the discipline observed from the Biden transition – The last presidential transition in the USA that led Biden to the Presidency was particularly troubled due to the uncooperative attitude of outgoing President Trump. The article, taking its cue from the events that characterized this transition period from a juridical-constitutional point of view, investigates the general stability of the discipline that regulates the delicate lame duck period in the USA, trying
to grasp its rationale, advantages, limits and contradictions, in compliance with constitutional values and questioning the role to be recognized to the incumbent President and to the President-elect.
