The article analyses the right to education in the Argentine legal system. Firstly, the evolution of the right to education in Argentina, which from the “individual” right envisaged since the historical constitution of 1853 will assume, due to the constitutional revisions of 1949 and 1994, the dimension of “social rights”. Through a review of the main reforms of the Argentine Legislator, specific attention will be placed on financial instruments aimed to the implementation of the right, and therefore its guarantee and effectiveness.
