President Biden’s Counter-Terrorism Strategy: Latest Issues and Main Challenges for the Next Presidency

This Article examines President Biden’s approach to the domestic and international terrorism threat focusing on the last two years of his presidency (2023-2024). More specifically, it starts from acknowledging what had been done by the Biden Administration in the first two years of mandate as well as what was expected, and assesses what has actually been achieved in the last biennium. In its conclusions, this paper highlights some of the main challenges lying ahead for the next presidency in the field of counter-terrorism.
