Cultural heritage can be a resource for the economic, social and cultural development of local community. In fact, the economic sector around cultural heritage includes a set of services that go beyond the management of the single asset/monument/building, and allow the reuse of cultural heritage for its efficient valorization. Local authorities have shown an interest in using PPP models to enhance their cultural heritage and regenerate territorial areas as an economic tool, capable of positively affecting the tourism sector, and the urban policies of local authorities, through forms of urban regeneration. At the same time PPP in the cultural sector originate peculiar forms of collaboration in which the divergent interests of the partners find, a common point, in the achievement of the goals of the partnership.
