The paper examines the constitutional profiles of Polish ecclesiastical law that result from the March Constitution. Freedom of conscience and religion was adequately guaranteed by the constitutional text, while maintaining the pre-eminent position of the Catholic Church, also on the basis of Polish historical experience.
