The author emphasizes the extraordinary variety of scholarly interests of Paolo Carrozza, one of the leading public lawyers belonging to the Pisa School, founding his research on the comparative method. In particular, the author underlines the important contributions included in the “Manuale di diritto costituzionale comparato”, the keen interest for courts, justice, and constitutional justice, his research on federalism, the great editorial work on the “Italian Studies in Law”.
