Some observations on the relevance of Constitutional justice in contemporary constitutionalism - This paper is based on five contributions that were presented in the first panel on “Judicial review of legislation, protection of fundamental rights and multilevel relations” and intends to carry out some considerations on the role in the contemporary era of Constitutional Courts through the examination of the dialogue with the Court of Justice on the effectiveness of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and on climate justice. It is intended to highlight how justice in constitutional matters involves courts of different jurisdictions, without detracting from the fundamental role of constitutional judges, who are called upon in the current networked system of courts to play an essential role that is still full of great potential in extending the protection of fundamental rights.
Keywords: Dialogue between courts; Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union; Verfassungsbeschwerde; Recurso de amparo; Climate justice.
