The reform of Mexico’s amparo law of October 16, 2025, introduced significant changes to the system of rights protection in the Latin American country. The interventions covered areas as diverse as digital modernization, the provisional suspension of harmful acts, standing to bring legal action, and the amparo process in tax matters. This paper aims to analyze the reform with the aim of highlighting the aspects that most contribute to strengthening the institution of judicial protection of rights, but also identifying any problematic profiles that risk weakening the effectiveness of the amparo judgment.
