Abstract

Divergences and convergences in artificial intelligence governance: a comparison of the implementation of the AI Act in Italy and Spain - The article examines the governance model of the AI Act and its transposition in Italy and Spain, comparing the solutions adopted in the two legal systems. Through an analysis of the designated authorities and their functions, it highlights how both national experiences, while diverging in terms of organisation, converge towards structures characterised by a limited independence from the executive, raising critical issues in relation to EU law.
