Regional differentiation and the protection of the minority linguistic heritage: the Italian perspective - The essay deals with the topic of regional differentiation with reference to the protection of ethnic-linguistic heritage. Having reconstructed the relationship between minority protection and the form of State in the context of the Italian regional experience, the author delves into the prospects of implementing Section 116, Paragraph 3, of the Constitution, highlighting its potential but also the risks, especially considering the identity significance of the language and the possible escalation of conflict between State and Regions.
