This article examines how artificial intelligence and Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 affect the Greek legal order. It argues that the AI Act has not yet significantly reshaped Greek constitutional or legislative architecture, while AI systems already influence public administration, judicial processes, cybersecurity governance, and public-sector capacity. The analysis focuses on constitutional guarantees, Law 4961/2022, access to administrative documents, automated decision-making, accountability, and digital transformation. It concludes that the AI Act chiefly consolidates challenges already arising in practice and that effective governance depends on adapting and rigorously applying existing rule-of-law safeguards.
