First session summary report: the pacifist principle

Abstract

This paper examines the contributions submitted in order to make a timely and comparative review of the main issues addressed. The characteristics and role of constitutional peace clauses will be examined, with a focus on the conflict triggered by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, through the analysis of different legal systems and the role played by the European Union in the pursuit of peace.
