The article aims to analyze the relation between memory and law examining the Perinçek Case on Armenian Genocide denial. Perinçek described the Armenian genocide as an international lie. For this reason he was found guilty of racial discrimination by the Lausanne District Police Court and the Swiss Federal Court. The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that Switzerland violated the freedom of expression. The Author further assesses the differences between Perinçek I and Perinçek II.
