This paper analyzes the issue of religious freedom in the global arena from the point of view of the role exercised by the United States taking into account the reactions of other institutions and the different interactions in the same context. The right to religious freedom is analyzed taking into account particular situations of widespread and ongoing violations against religious minorities. Finally, it examines the position of Europe on this issue and the methods of cooperation arranged also with respect to other parties.
