Are we really our data? The distorting rewarding mechanisms of social scoring in China, Holland and Italy
Abstract
The contribution analyses the difference between the image that the individual gives of himself through an input in the circuits of his personal data and what he actually is, focussing on the statement of the personalistic principle of data that cannot be split from the individual himself. By studying the use of the rewarding mechanisms of Social Scoring of Chinese Social Credit Systems compared with Siri and the Italian Projects: Pollicino, Grantee’s Cardholder, Marvel and Protector, a possible positive use of AI will be investigated to encourage the input of data systems that mirrors the centrality of human beings.
