Abstract: Principle of conferral and national constitutional courts in the BVerfG decision of 5 May 2020

Abstract

Taking the cue from the BVerfG decision of 5 May 2020, the essay analyzes the relationship between constitutional courts and ECJ with regard to principle of conferral and brings into question the possibility of separate monetary choices from “economic policy effects”.
