Abstract

The paper investigates the evolution of the language in the public administration from Italian Unification. The Author aims to highlight the relation between the transformation of the legal language and the evolution of Italian form of state. It further assesses the evolution of language in legislation, jurisprudence and administration relating to institutions and citizens.
