La tecnica di riproduzione assistita in Spagna. Regolamentazione giuridica e giurisprudenza costituzionale
The technique of assisted reproduction in Spain. Legal regulation and constitutional case law
Abstract
The article is aimed at analysing the legislative provisions of assisted reproduction together with its compliance with the Spanish Constitution, as it has been confirmed by the Spanish Constitutional Tribunal. The Court has delivered few but important decisions on the issue. Spain has been one of the first European countries to legislate on the matter and has amended the legislation several times in order to better respond to the critics of constitutional scholars and to ethical concerns.
