Abstract
This paper presents a clear tripartite structure, and it aims at framing the “scholastic Constitution” of Cadiz within the conservative “catechism” proposed by Lowenstein’s ontological
classification. In particular, the Author argues that the “scholastic Constitution” primarily performs the sympolic-ideologic function characterising nominal Constitutions, as it perpetrates
the established order through educational means.
