The role of local self-government in the Andalucian Statute reform in Spain
Abstract
This paper deals with the hoary issue of the redefinition of political decentralisation models. The Andalucian Statute is used as a case study to present the definition and enforcement of local self-government within the Spanish context. In particular, through the observation of the self-government underpinnings in Andalucia and a structured analysis of the institutional framework defined by the Statutory reform, the Author proposes a comprehensive study which is characterised by relevant comparative consequences for France and Italy.
